Eyes lock close
Thoughts run wild

I take them by the throat
My thoughts and misery
I'm mine, I'm in control
Nothing can get to me

They try to sabotage
Thoughts, rationality
Nothing can tear what's sewn
Of new belief in me

The path in front of me

Resistance comes as wind
Distorting violently
The map lain out in front
Wanders away from me

It takes a second
To look at life and decide
