25 Days

Subversion (GBR)
[Tonight is verging on one of the coldest our lone survivor has faced during his time of disconnection from the world he knew.]

[A storm rages and the wind howls as a bolt of lightning strikes a tree not 5 meters from where our soldier lies restless and awake.]

[The night is gone in a flash as not a dream in sight cuts his perception of time short.]

[The morning hits hard and the heat is unbearable is contrast to the days that perceded it.]

[This now bare husk of a man is forced to push on, in hope to make it back to the order and discipline he once knew.]

[A hawk catches his attention as it passes overhead. He gazes up and imagines what it must be like to have the freedom of flight.]
