Where do we come from
Why are we here
The chosen books do not agree
The answers are not clear
Strange things seen at night
Stir the views of others
Someone trying to contact us
Why is it that no one bothers

The scriptures cast the shadows
Over heaven and hell
Astronomers pass the buck
The atomic storm will tell
The great winds will blow
Seas will swell
Man will rise into the sky
Will he be allowed to tell

Why don’t somebody answer my questions
I want to live

The lure of distant places
Is there for us to fear
Excited by their mystery
Tell us not to clear
Travellers of both time and space
Acknowledge my twisted brain
Is there more to heaven and hell
Am I the one insane

There must be some life up there
Too many lies offered
Questions never answered
His good book is condemned
Not that I would disagree
The bible stands for me
Or was it really space men
Travelled in the year BC.
