Looking Glass

What lurks inside this repulsive glass?
Is this vision reality or a twisted lie

I see nothing for my soul has passed
But still I'm cursed to stalk this eternal fog

The silence around me, freezing my skull... the darkness piercing
Ruptured existence - the force of life repelled! This chamber is my tomb

Oh mirror, show me life, show me what others see
A soul within the flesh and bone
Seven times I've called yet still the light bends around me

As another night descends images , the glassy fade again
With the dawn of another day comes the hope that this cursed reality may end
