Venturing High And Low

There’s a poor an wretched creature that lays on a stone
With tears in the eyes, and looks at the sky
Once all answers were found there
But this course changed forever
The answers were no longer there
And stopped making sense-everything was different

Venturing high and low in the everyday world
Always seeking replies to the queries
Gazed the sky and gazed the earth
It’s mind started to fumble

Tired and alone it decided to close it’s eyes and soul
And started to stare pure Darkness for it’s answers
The white wings were turned to stone
The eyes were like Ice, frozen shut
Silver’s glow faded into emptiness

Time fades
Life scars the once fair figure
Moving eyes opened with a reddish glow
It’s body shakes and tombstone brakes
A fiendish figure emerges from the rumble
