The Wandering One

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the
Turning tide
He's crossing now from asgard where
The great and strong abide

He leads across the rainbow bridge,
The host with us allied"

I have seen him hidden in the eyes of
Folk without a plan
We have built him an altar in the mind
Of modern man

I have wandered dark 3nd aware
Through the many worlds
I've been held in awe and fear
And seen creation unfurl

I‘ve haunted groves of ghosts
That hung in offering
I've been a lord of hosts
That flew on stormy winds

A scream of triumph, mad and wild
А raving ecstasy of mind,
A fetter-breaking fury as
The lord of' rapture seeks his kind

I tore my tortured sight
And shed not a tear
Vision fractured with the light

I will be here waiting
Till the end of time
I will he, here watching
Patient and sublime

I have wandered grim and gray
As a beggar in disguise,
Yet i am king of all i survey;
Ill-trusted and despised..
The gods are marching on!!
