Subservient Oppressor

This guilt burns us
But we're not rightfully scolded
Too long we've been bound
By an eternal burden

Now - Our eyes are open
And we shall not be blamed
Stand - To our feet
We will not be silenced in shame
You - Should bear this weight
And to our strength bow
Crawl - Like the vermin you are
Who's the slave now?

Africans enslaved our folk in the Barbary slave trade
Jews pioneered the sale of Africans
In the USA
Yet we stand court marshalled when we were the first to end
The horrors of battery humans

These oppressive chains
That constrict our brains
Are breaking
