Blue Monday how I hate blue Monday!
Gotta work like a slave all day.
Here comes Tuesday

I’m so tired I’m tryin’to play.
Here comes Wednesday
I’ll be to myself
my world’s poor by the time that I’m up.
But then it’s a hard workin’day
but I gotta get my pay.
Saturday morning

all my time has kept going away.
I got my money and my honey
and I’m gonna stay to play.
Sunday morning my head is bad.
Was it worth it for the time that I had?
But I got to get my rest
because Monday is a mess.
