Text for song:

When Roses Faded

Red Rose
Same old scene, a gloomy Friday morning
Greets me as I wake from dreamless sleep
All the things my life unfolds before me
Are just the pictures of the past I hold so dear

I am old; I'm tired of this uselessness
Living this lame existence day after day
If it weren't for the burden on my shoulders
I would rather pass away

My son, our garden holds the key
It will give a sign on the cusp of change
It's said, the world will fall from grace
When roses fade; human kind is on the edge

You were supposed to carry on with this burden
Was I wrong to think I had an heir?
We ought to take care of our garden
Never mind what else we might desire

I have failed my duties as a father
Maybe I deserve to be alone
He is so narrow-minded; he didn't bother
Who will watch over it when I'm gone
