This Bitter World

A virgin sky, the mountains high
Here I come to clear my mind
When it feels I'm close to lose my sanity
Looking down an endless sea
Wild wind whispering to me
Spirit's lifting like there is no gravity

This precious feeling impossible to keep

Every day is like a game
I was forced to learn to play
Fighting to survive without a reason
Hunting for the shine of gold
Is what our kids been taught
Human hearts grow colder every season

I wanna step into the light
To leave this filthy life behind
Escape the sadness for a little while
I wish I could learn to fly
Spread my wings and touch the sky

Every night we're on our knees
Praying to God: "Free us from disease
And give us shelter when we need it"
But there's no answer from above
Our hearts have lost the love
No redemption now and we are bleeding
