Text for song:

To Bequeath The Tranquil Waters

Misantropical Painforest
By the lake, seated like an ancient warrior
Watching silently
As the last ray of light sinks
And so must we sink now
Into the deeps of the night
To bequeath the tranquil waters
For those left behind

By the rocks, watching the birds swim away
Beyond the painted horizon
Which flutters in the waves
Like celebration of victory
Or foreboding of death
It's hard to say
It's hard to talk
And it's hard to silence
This last trail of words
That still keeps on tying the images

To bequeath the tranquil waters
For those who come after us
Must we watch this everything carefully
And sink into the silence

To bequeath the tranquil waters
For those before whom we go
Must we remember everything
And enter the whole between the sounds

The trees by the ancient lakeside
Waved subtly with the movement
Of the forest that gather to pull us beneath
The trees are ancient warriors
And now each of us
must ride on one's own might
Not relying on anyone else
To bequeath the silent waters
We have to preserve their tranquillity

Until the storm comes...
To bequeath the tranquil waters
