As One With The Woods

The dawn is near,
the time has consumed me
Battle after battle
Always with the sword in my hand.

The blood that today falls
Paint the place of my eternal rest

In this sacred forest,
my soul will rest forever

My eyes begin to close
I see my family
and the friends who fell in battle.

I see the victories while I smile...
I contemplate the defeats while I cry...
And my feet begin to sink, In this land,
transforming themselves into roots.

Now I am a statue and I feel the down near.
Accepting my destiny, I become another tree

The eternity has arrived,
My body and my land are one,
and they are united forever...

My skin becomes as the wood…
