Dawn illuminates my flaws
I'm a master of cowards and a servant to whores
At my command, I sail seas of regret
The course can't be altered - the horizon is set

I feel like all shadow and pain in existence
My wretched flesh offers no resistance
To the unfulfilled, even bitter tastes sweet
And I hunger for all I can feast
The pursuit of the light, from the storms a respite
Is a foul, elusive beast

We are all funeral
Weeping
Shaking
Broken
Heads down

Remember; the wolves at your door
Will keep calling your name
And stalk you on banks of fear, guilt, regret and shame
I'm an empty shell, to the wilderness cast
No gods above or below
