Dieuson Octave, better known as Kodak Black, is an American hip-hop artist from Pompano Beach, Florida.
He became famous and popular after the release of his fourth mixtape Lil B.I.G. Pac. Kodak constantly violated the law and was prosecuted by the police.
The music magazine XXL has included it in the list of "most notable hip-hop newcomers of the year", Pitchfork put on a record by Lil B.I.G. Pac to the list of the “20 best hip-hop albums of 2016”. Often, Kodak's music is based on his "previous and future misdemeanors."
In 2018, the Heart Break Kodak album was released.
