Bicep (titled as scientific term Background Imaging of Cosmic Extragalactic Polarization) was formed in 2009. The duo of friends have created a blog "Feel My Bicep", which was used to post about lost and forgotten disco, house, techno and disco edits.
They released some tracks on a lot of labels before joining Will Saul's Aus Music and setting up their own label "Feel My Bicep" in September 2012 and gained DJ Mag's 'Best of British Breakthrough DJ' award this year.
After signing to Ninja Tune in 2017, band released debut album Bicep, which achieved number 20 on the UK Albums Chart, and received critical success, with support from publications such as Pitchfork, The Guardian, Resident Advisor and Mixmag.
On October 2020 band's second album "Isles" was announced, released on the Ninja Tune label on 22 January 2021. The single "Apricots" was released for album's support.
